I had a pretty decent stay at the Riviera. The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious, even though they showed some signs of wear. The pool area was nice for relaxing, but I did have some issues with the staff by the pool, who seemed quite unfriendly. Overall, it was good value for money, especially for Las Vegas, but don't expect a luxury experience.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and comfortably accommodated two with two double beds, and the shower pressure was great. I would rate the decor as a bit tired, but it still served its purpose well.
Service
5.0
Although the front desk staff were efficient during check-in, I felt disappointed with the poolside staff, who were often rude and unhelpful.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located on the north end of the strip, making it easy to drive to various attractions.
Dining

Breakfast options were affordable at Jitters, where we enjoyed bagels and juice for a good price, but the food court left much to be desired.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area was decent and provided a relaxing space, but there was room for improvement in amenities and service quality.

5.4/10

The Riviera Hotel has clean and comfortable rooms, making it a decent place to crash after a long day on the strip. However, the service was disappointingly rude and unfriendly, which overshadowed my experience. While the location allows for easy access to various attractions, the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt quite dated and dreary, especially around the casino area.

The room I stayed in was clean and functional, but the decor felt quite dated.

I recently stayed at the Riviera hotel, and while I found some positives such as the renovated rooms and the affordable pricing, the overall experience was quite mixed. The location is decent, being close to the main attractions, but the hotel definitely shows its age. The dining at the buffet was enjoyable, and I loved the show I attended, but the customer service left a lot to be desired, which really put a damper on my stay.

Rooms

I stayed in a renovated room that was modern and clean, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed.

My stay at Riviera was a mix of ups and downs. The location is decent, and I appreciated the comfortable accommodations. However, there were some issues with the room setup and customer service that made my experience less than ideal. While the amenities were enjoyable, the inconsistency in service was definitely a drawback.

Rooms
7.0
The room was basic but comfortable, with some furniture showing signs of wear. Cleanliness was overall good.
Service
5.0
While some staff were absolutely fantastic and helpful, there were a few issues with room assignments that left a sour taste.
Location

The hotel is slightly removed from the main action on the Strip, but it's still convenient due to good bus services nearby.
Dining

The buffet offered surprisingly good food for its price, better in quality compared to other more expensive options on the Strip.
Facilities

The pool area was nice and added to the overall relaxing vibe of the hotel.

5.0/10

My stay at the hotel started off on the wrong foot, beginning with an unclean room and an hour-long check-in process. Although I managed to get moved to a better room eventually, the overall experience left much to be desired. The casino was unwelcoming with dirty floors, and I had multiple frustrating encounters with hotel staff. The only redeeming aspect was a decent meal at the poolside café, but that wasn’t enough to make me consider returning.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were in poor condition overall, with cleanliness issues and a broken entertainment center in one room. The new room was better, but still not impressive.
Service
5.0
Service was lacking, with long wait times for check-in and unprofessional staff encounters.
Location
5.0
The location is somewhat convenient but has safety concerns, especially at night.
Dining
7.0
Dining at the poolside café was a highlight, with great food and service, but the overall dining options were lacking.
Facilities
5.0
The casino facilities were not well-maintained and left a lot to be desired.
